Timothy Kimrey

Kimrey joined the OCDC in August 2022 and is currently the Training Director overseeing the Detention Officer Academy, Recruiting, In-Service Training, and background investigations.  Kimrey has over 25 years of law enforcement experience and 15 years as Naval Intelligence Officer with assignments at the Pentagon, Central Command HQ, and serving as a Law Enforcement Advisor with the US Marine Corps in Afghanistan.  He is a retired Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain and Lieutenant Commander in the USNR. He holds a BA in History and Education from East Central University and a Masters in Police Administration.  He also holds an Oklahoma and Missouri state teaching certificate and an Advanced Law Enforcement certification from the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET)
