COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE RESOURCE & EMPOWERMENT - C.A.R.E. UNIT

The C.A.R.E. Unit was created to assist family members and loved ones of residents at OCDC. Our C.A.R.E. Unit staff can respond to inquiries from family and friends about the facility rules and policies as well as provide any other assistance and referrals. Staff members may also conduct proactive outreach to families.

Family concerned about loved ones in OCDC will have a more direct method of gaining information by submitting a Quality of Life concern related to jail operations. Examples of a Quality of Life concern would include a resident's to appropriate services, activities, and general detention center conditions.

The resident's full name

The resident's ID# (optional)

A description of the concern, to include any applicable dates, times, and any supporting documentation.

The proposed solution

Once your Quality of Life Concern has been submitted, please allow time for the issue to be researched and a response to be routed back to your e-mail address. The OCDC CARE UNIT will strive to respond to your concern as quickly as possible.
