Medical, Dental & Mental Health

Oklahoma County Detention Center is proud to maintain our own medical and mental health staff. Keeping our medical and mental health staff in-house has allowed for our focus to remain solely on our own inmates and allows us to hold our staff to a higher standard. Our staff can assure that Oklahoma State Statutes are met while providing the highest level of care within the facility.

Patients requesting and/or receiving health services within the Oklahoma County Detention Center will be assessed and incur appropriate medical fees for services. Health services will be rendered regardless of the patient’s ability to pay for the service. The fee(s) may be deducted from an inmate's trust fund (commissary) account so long the deduction does not cause the balance in the account to fall below $6.00.
