Jeff Ama

Jeff is a Veteran of the United States Air Force, where he joined after high school as a Cyber Transport Systems Journeyman, earning a number of training certifications, most notably CompTIA Security Plus. His leadership experience begins there, where he successfully led a team of technicians to establish much needed communications in austere conditions, earning him a coveted Commander’s Coin of Excellence. Jeff also has worked in IT leadership roles in the Gaming and Banking industries prior to joining OCCJA.

In his tenure at OCCJA, Jeff has replaced all end user computer systems, upgraded our jail control system to an IP based system, replaced the camera system and servers, implemented Wi-Fi throughout the facility and upgraded our network to add speed and redundancy.
