OCDC MOURNS THE LOSS OF OFFICER CLINTON VAUGHT, NATIONAL GUARD CORPORAL

Detention Officer Clinton Vaught passed away while serving on active military duty during a training exercise at Fort Benning, Georgia. Officer Vaught was a dedicated member of the Oklahoma National Guard and had attained the rank of Corporal. He gave his life in service to our nation.
Officer Vaught was an outstanding detention officer and a model employee who was deeply committed to the mission of the Oklahoma County Detention Center. He was respected by his peers and supervisors alike for his professionalism, work ethic, and positive spirit. His outgoing personality and daily greetings will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
“This is an immeasurable loss for our agency,” said Tim Kimrey, Oklahoma County Detention Center Jail Administrator. “Clint embodied service in every sense of the word, serving both his community and his country with honor, integrity, and dedication. We are incredibly proud of his commitment and sacrifice, and we will never forget the impact he had on those around him.”
