OKLAHOMA COUNTY DETAINEE DIES AT HOSPITAL

OKLAHOMA CITY (July 2, 2022) – Detainee Corey McMichael passed away at the hospital on Saturday, July 2, 2022. McMichael’s was being housed on the medical floor of the detention center. He was taken to the medical clinic on Monday, June 27 after experiencing health related issues. Following a medical examination EMSA transported McMichael’s to the hospital. His family was notified and with him when he passed. McMichael was born May 11, 1975. He was booked into the detention center August 7, 2021. The State Medical Examiner’s Office will make a final determination as to the cause of death.
