APPOINTS CITIZEN ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 29, 2022) – The Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority has named nine members to its Citizen Advisory Board. These individuals will act in an advisory role to assist the members of the OCCJA, also known as the Jail Trust, regarding community relations and best practices in all aspects of the Trust’s functions. “We are excited to have these nine individuals join the Citizens Advisory Board,” said Jim Couch, OCCJA chairman. “Each member is highly respected in the community and brings a unique perspective. We look forward to hearing their advice on the operations of the Oklahoma County Detention Center." The members of the CAB are: • Kris Steel • June Elkins-Baker • Rev. Ray Douglas • Hannah Royce • Rev. Derrick Scobey • Steven Buck • Leslie NesSmith • Ryan Haynie • Erin Engelke The first meeting will take place Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Oklahoma County Annex Building in room 204.
