INMATE DIES WHILE HOSPITALIZED

OKLAHOMA CITY (December 22, 2021) – An Oklahoma County Detention Center detainee died at the hospital on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Jimmy Dewayne Lube (DOB 11/20/1971) had been at the hospital since December 8, 2021, for pre-existing health-related issues. Mr. Lube was booked into the jail on July 8, 2021. His family has been notified. The State Medical Examiner’s Office will make a final determination as to the cause of death.
