CHAD ALEXANDER APPOINTED AS TRUSTEE FOR THE OKLAHOMA
The Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Chad Alexander as a trust member (District 3 Appointee). Mr. Alexander will replace Todd Lamb, who has resigned his position, and will serve a six-year term. He brings a wealth of experience to the trust. Mr. Alexander owns a successful government relations company since 2003. He is a member of the Oklahoma City Community College Alumni Hall of Fame as well as Leadership Oklahoma Class XXV, and the Journal Records Achievers Under 40 class of 2012. In 2020, Mr. Alexander was named Man of the Year by the Oklahoma Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, raising $54,000 dollars for Blood Cancer Research. He is a strong supporter of Right on Crime, and Oklahomans for Criminal Justice Reform. Mr. Alexander has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. He graduated Pi Sigma Alpha as a member of the Political Science Honor Society. Mr. Alexander also served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Metro Alliance from December of 2014 until June of 2020, work recovery program for drug and alcohol abuse. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy from 2018 thru 2020. The Board of Directors for the State Chamber of Commerce from 2019 until 2020. “In working with Chad as an OICA board member over two years, he clearly understands the pipeline to prison created through adverse childhood experiences,” said Joe Dorman CEO of OICA. “Above that, I’ve considered Chad a friend for over 25 years, even with our political differences. I have no doubt where his heart is when it comes to solving issues faced by the men and women at the Oklahoma County Jail, both incarcerated and employed there.” “The decision to accept this appointment is not something I take lightly. I’ve been closely following the issues at the jail for many years now,” said Chad Alexander. “I come with an open mind and the desire to do what’s best for the county. I look forward to working with the other members of the trust to solve these issues now facing the Oklahoma County Detention Center.”
